Changes

As 2007 ends, I find myself changing things and the ways I am used to.  Starting new things....ending a few that I've come custom to.  This past year has been a good one. I have been working alot more than I expected I would.  I began doing Photography as an outlet for myself.  My main purpose for working was to take some of the stress from my husband while still being there for our daughters throughout the day.  As a wife and mother, it is easy to get overwhelmed in the daily things that are expected of me.  The things I enjoy and the things that have gotten me down in the past.  If you had asked me 10 years ago -what I wanted to be when I grew up-, I would have told you, "To be a wife and a mother."  That is all I ever wanted out of my life.  I am very pleased with the way my life has turned out at this point.  To be honest, I actually wrote in my high school book that in 10 years, I would be married to Bryan with 3 children.  I am completely blessed to have a husband that truly loves me and daughters who call me their hero.  I have found a little more of myself this year than I have known in quite awhile. Even if it meant getting a "Tattoo" and having "Red or Blue hair".  I am actually taking time for myself. I do feel like the real me is showing.  I'm still me, I just feel better about what I see when I look in the mirror.  It feels good to have a job and do something for myself, to add to the household.  I started doing Photography as an outlet for me.  I was on bedrest with our last daughter and all I could do was ly there, staring at the wall.  My husband bought me a camera and I began taking pictures of the pictures on the wall or my children as the walked by me.  I read alot and overtime and tons of practice, did I say TONS of practice?  I meant...T O N S. I got better and better.  After I had the baby, I began by taking pictures of her, her sisters and anyone else that would stand still for 2 seconds.  I began by calling a few people and taking photos of their family and children.  Word quickly went around our little town of my work.  And here we are, almost 2 years later.  I am preparing to begin another year as your photographer.  I must say that I am amazed at the people that have given me support and welcomed me into their homes.  I enjoy seeing my work on your walls and am blessed by the good words you have spoken.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I meet people in town that have seen my Flickr site and I am flattered that you have passed it on to so many people.  I can not thank you enough.

I will be adding to this blog weekly.  If you are a client, you will have an album that will be listed under the month of my post. This will, however, not only be for you.  I will also be adding personal notes and pictures of my daily life.  Add my Weblog as a favorite or better yet, subscribe to it (above) and you will be alerted via email when I post.

I have attached some pictures from our Holiday Season.  Here is our "Tree" with a little bokeh.

..and guess who was hiding under the Christmas Tree.  Our little Cha-Cha...in her ruffled pajamas.

..and finally, the little boy of the family.   Our bulldog, Ozzy.
